London one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. The influence of these different cultures can be seen in London’s culinary map. Food styles from all the corners of the world make London a great place to have a gastronomic adventure, especially outdoors in summer.

The most stunning views of the West End are at “Paramount”. Located at Centre Point above Tottenham Court Road tube station, this stylish restaurant and bar provides some of the best food and cocktails in London.

“Madison Restaurant Bar and Café” is one of the largest rooftop restaurants in the city. It also has one of the best views of the London skyline. It overlooks many of the city’s attractions, namely the dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral, among others. The history of London as witnessed by these majestic buildings is right in front of you to be admired during your dinner.

London’s canals are an important aspect of this city. Many hidden spots along the canal route can become special places for outdoor dining. One of these is “The Summerhouse” at Little Venice. It is not called Little Venice for nothing. Located on the edge of the Grand Union Canal, The Summerhouse is a little slice of the Mediterranean. Visit on a balmy summer evening and the combination of the seaside ambiance, blue and white striped banquettes and wooden sailing boat models, will put you in a British holiday mood. The food here is superb. Go for the very English fish and chips and a crisp bottle of rosé.

London is also quite famous for its traditional pubs. If you want a proper traditional British moment, then sit on the corner of Parsons Green Road at the “White Horse”. The garden of this buzzing Fulham local is well positioned for sitting and watching the world go by, hence its popularity with the well-heeled residents who gave it its ‘Sloaney Pony’ nickname. Often voted in the top 10 of the UK’s best pubs, The White Horse is renowned for its summer BBQs and unusual range of 150 bottled and 20 draft beers.
