This section has some great local information to help you make the most out of your stay. The sections below include:
There are so many attractions you can see in the Waterloo area, although we highly recommend taking a stroll both east and west along the Southbank, with its vast array of festival halls, art galleries and historic buildings.
If you like theatre, then the Old Vic should be a part of your travel itinerary. It is just a short two minute walk from the apartment on Waterloo Road. It stages many great productions, and has become more famous because of its resident director - Kevin Spacey, who also lives nearby! The Young Vic, just round the corner, shows cutting edge productions with many up and coming actors.
For a rich selection of excellent restaurants in the area please visit www.toptable.com.
A local gem:
For fantastic local Gastro-Pub cuisine, checkout the Anchor and Hope, which is located at 36, The Cut, SE1, approximately five minutes away from the apartments. The food here is great. The tables are given on a first come, first served basis so do go quick! To check serving times, you can call +44 (0) 20 7928 9898.
And more
Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Soho, The British Museum, the Science Museum and The West End are all within a short tube journey away.
