Arrival and access

The arrival procedure to gain access to the apartment is quick and simple for your convenience.  

***Guests can check into the apartment from 3.00pm.  You may not check-in early (or drop-off luggage) unless previously PAID FOR and arranged.  See the brochure or FAQ for details***

 

The vast majority of our apartments (and the apartment buildings) are fitted with advanced coded door locks.  This allows the guest quick and easy access without the need for keys. 

These door lock systems can be managed remotely and allow for fantastic arrival and usage convenience for our guests.  There is no need to worry about key pick-up and drop-off, or arriving at a certain time to be let in.  With all of our apartments, guests are able to arrive anytime they need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

Concierge:

A small number of our apartments are within bigger building developments.  In these cases you will need to pick your keys up from the building's concierge desk.  This service is also available 24/7 (the concierge is not connected with Boutique London Lets though and does not provide any other guest services). 

 

Once you have booked an apartment with us, we will send specific instructions for your particular apartment.

 

Coded lock access:

The majority of our apartments (and the apartment buildings) we have are fitted with advanced coded door locks.  This allows the guest quick and easy access without the need for keys.

On booking an apartment a specific 9-10 digit number will be given to you.  This code will be active for the duration of your booking only.  You will need to bring this number with you to access the apartment - and carry it with you for your stay.

For convenience, you can change the longer number to a shorter 4 digit number.  To change the code to a short number:


Step 1: Hold the * key until green light is solid (About 2 seconds), then release.

Step 2: While green light is lit, enter Access Code, #, Your Own Code, #

Step 3: Enter Your New Shorter 3-5 Digit Code, # (Door will unlock)


The locks are very simple to use and reliable.  However, here are some basic troubleshooting tips:

  • A user error could be due to (i) entering the wrong code, or (ii) forgetting to add "#"
  • A code error will only be registered once "#" is entered at the end of the sequence. This is one of the lock's security measures.  If the code doesn't work the first time please enter it again slowly, making sure of each digit and remembering "#" at the end of the sequence.
  • If the lock is making a beeping sound, and the panel lights up (internal lock only) whilst entering the code this is confirmation that there I power to the lock.  If you repeatedly entered your code correctly and still have no access please phone us and we will issue an alternative door code.
  • If you do not hear any beeping sounds whilst entering you code, and cannot gain access to the apartment please phone our helpline for further assistance.
