Local attractions
There are too many to mention, although we highly recommend taking a stroll both east and west along the Southbank, with its vast array of festival halls, art galleries and historic buildings.
If you like theatre, then the Old Vic is just two minutes walk from the apartment on Waterloo Road and has some great productions, and is famous for its resident director - Kevin Spacey, who also lives nearby!! The Young Vic, just round the corner, shows very cutting edge productions with many up and coming new actors.

However, for fantastic local Gastro-Pub cuisine, checkout the Anchor and Hope, which is located at 36, The Cut, SE1, approx five minutes walk. The food in here is great; it's first come first served and tables do go quick! To check serving times, you can call +44 (0) 20 7928 9898.
