Are you ready for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park First Opening?

The first phase of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park -- the opening of the North Park -- launches on Saturday 27th July 2013, exactly one year after the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony. Over 250 acres of beautifully landscaped open space and 6.5 kilometres of waterways will become available for public use.

To celebrate the anniversary of the London 2012 Games and the reopening of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the Barbican and Create London will open the Open East Arts Festival. It’s going to be a spectacular festival and one of the best family days out in London this summer.

There will be many activities that will be open to the public including food tastings, art exhibits, and performances of theatre, dance and music from various artists. It is certain that the opening of the North Park will be celebrated in the most stunning and spectacular way.

First to open in July 2013, North Park includes acres of vibrant green parklands and footpaths that are perfect for picnics, leisurely walks and a great place for children to play in. A 7,500 capacity indoor entertainment venue will host a range of community events, along with a yearly programme of high profile sports and concerts. North Park is envisioned to become London's newest destination.

From Easter 2014 residents and visitors will be able to access the whole park, with new entrances opening via Westfield Shopping Centre and Stratford High Street in Newham.

Boutique London Lets has fabulous serviced apartments from which you can easily reach North Park. Southwark Serviced Apartments are ideally located: with Southwark Underground Station just 400 metres away. You can reach the venue with the Jubilee Line (the grey one) in just a few stops and enjoy the Open East Arts Festival.

See you in London!
