This quote from Queen Elizabeth II shows her strong spirit and devotion to the United Kingdom. The Coronation Festival is an important and emotional moment where people can celebrate the Queen’s sixtieth year as monarch.
The Coronation Festival will take place in the fabulous Gardens of Buckingham Palace from the 11th to 14th of July 2013. This exciting and unique event, hosted by the Royal Warrant Holders Association, will bring together, for the first time on this scale, over two hundreds companies who hold Royal Warrants of Appointment. Promoting the very best of the UK, the Festival will celebrate innovation, excellence and industry through trade and craft.
Visitors can explore the exhibitors’ marquees in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace. Moreover, there will be amazing interactive features, including: food and drink tastings, cooking demonstrations, exhibits that show advancements in technology over the last sixty years, a section where visitors can see the
great British passion for homes and interior design, and finally, an opportunity to learn about the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust.
The main event of the Festival will be the evenings Gala on the 12th and 13th of July. The event will keep the theme of the Festival: tradition, excellence and innovation. The Gardens, with Buckingham Palace as the back-drop, will be the setting for a spectacular Gala celebrating cultural life during the reign of Her Majesty, showcasing the achievements of this extra-ordinary age.
